Design 181 Mary Clyde
This could be the only gaff rigged yawl in our archives. Mary Clyde was built by W, J. Howell & Son of East Moriches, New York. She was launched in 1937. The image above shows her with a Marconi rig, which we designed for her in 1957 for retrofitting. Please review the sail plan below to see how she was as launched. She's a nice little shoal draft cruising boat with a comfortable three-berth layout and roomy cockpit. Here are the plans.
